Thoughtfully designed to bring warmth to everyday moments.

A Little Warmth on Your Desk

Freezing a Moment of Joy

STAGE 01: THE CONCEPT

The inspiration was simple: the pure, infectious fun of a childhood rocking ride. I wanted to capture the "Brave Quartet"—Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, and Momonga—not just sitting, but actively enjoying the ride. This stage involved sketching each character's unique reaction to the "wobble": from Usagi’s fearless lean to Chiikawa’s determined grip on the handle.

Balancing Cute and Precise

STAGE 02: THE ENGINEERING

To make the Duckie Ride look authentic, I utilized 3D digital engineering to sculpt the perfect "rocking horse" base. The challenge was ensuring each character felt weightless yet securely perched. Using high-definition 3D color mapping, I was able to define the vibrant yellow of the ducks and the specific, iconic expressions of the four friends, ensuring every digital detail was ready for the transition to reality.

Bringing the "Wobble" to Life

STAGE 03: THE HAND-FINISH

The final step is where the gloss meets the soul. After 3D printing, each duckie and its rider undergo a meticulous hand-polishing session. I apply a special high-gloss finish to the duckies to give them that classic "toy" look, while keeping the characters' skin textures soft and matte. By hand-painting the tiny eyes and rosy cheeks, I ensure that each miniature traveler looks like they are truly in the middle of their grand, wobbly adventure.

Important Note

Material & Handling

This keycap is made from resin, not ordinary plastic.
Resin allows for fine details and soft colors, but it is more delicate than standard keycap materials. Please handle gently and avoid drops or strong impact.

Compatibility

Designed for mechanical keyboards with Cherry MX–style cross stems.
Not compatible with low-profile switches, capacitive keyboards, membrane keyboards, or laptop keyboards.

Care Instructions

To keep your keycap looking its best, gently wipe with water or alcohol wipes when needed.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Why "Handcrafted" still matters.

The Hand-Finished Promise

Technique may evolve, but my commitment to craftsmanship never changes. As an independent creator, I personally oversee the refinement of every single piece. From removing tiny imperfections to ensuring the perfect tactile finish, this manual process is where the soul of the character is truly awakened. Sincerity is, and will always be, the most important ingredient.
