The Soul in the Clay

STAGE 01: THE BIRTH

The Creamy Bear series was born from the softest corner of my heart. As the core IP of Oai Studio, these five unique bears didn’t start in a computer—they were gently "grown" between my fingertips from a block of clay. I gave them their signature "chubby-square" silhouettes, inspired by the sturdy, adorable frames of my two munchkin cats. In this stage, I spent hours adjusting their rosy cheeks and gazes in clay until they radiated the kind of healing warmth that hits you at first sight.

From Tactile to Digital Precision

STAGE 02: THE TRANSFORMATION

How do we preserve the "charming clumsiness" of hand-sculpted clay while achieving ultimate refinement through 3D technology? That was the heart of the modeling stage. Using 3D digital sculpting, I meticulously preserved the unique personality of each bear’s silhouette. Through high-precision color mapping, I designed five warm, cream-inspired tones for the family. This digital transformation allows my Creamy Bears to evolve from single handmade pieces into tactile art that accompanies keyboard enthusiasts worldwide.

The Soft-Touch Hand-Finish

STAGE 03: THE REFINEMENT

Every Creamy Bear eventually returns to my fingertips. The 3D printing provides the frame, but hand-finishing provides the soul. I meticulously sand every edge until it achieves that signature velvet-matte texture—reminiscent of delicate flocking—which feels more premium and warmer than a glossy finish. Finally, I hand-paint their bright, expectant eyes, letting them truly "wake up" on your keyboard. They aren't just keycaps; they are your most steadfast, gentle companions for your daily tasks.

This keycap is made from resin, not ordinary plastic.
Resin allows for fine details and soft colors, but it is more delicate than standard keycap materials. Please handle gently and avoid drops or strong impact.

Compatibility

Designed for mechanical keyboards with Cherry MX–style cross stems.
Not compatible with low-profile switches, capacitive keyboards, membrane keyboards, or laptop keyboards.
